Hi,
I just installed SafeWallet trial, because unlike SPB Wallet which I used for many years, it has WP 7 client (I loved the import feature, btw!).

However, one thing bugs me. I use the password manager extremely frequently, at least several times a day, so I need to be able to bring it up quickly. With SPB Wallet, I always closed the application after I finished using it, then when I needed it again, I would hit Windows key, type "Wal" and hit enter.

This doesn't work with SafeWallet though. It lives in the tray bar and running it from Start menu does nothing.

It there any keyboard shortcut or another way to open SafeWallet with a few keystrokes?

Thanks for your assistance!

Hi mzabsky,

If I understand, it sounds like you have SafeWallet set to lock to the tray when minimized or closed (this is the default setting after installation). If you go into Settings and clear the check box for "Lock SafeWallet when" you will be able to close it. Then you can pin it to the WP7 Start Menu and type "sa" or "saf" to launch SafeWallet with the keyboard.

Hi Mzabsky and welcome to our forums :)

I'm glad to hear the SPB Wallet import utility was helpful and worked smoothly - thanks for the feedback! :)

Using Scott's instructions you can create a shortcut to SafeWallet so you could easily launch it in the same manner. At the same time, I've added your feedback to our development system and we'll work on adding some simpler built-in shortcut option with SafeWallet - I can definitely see myself using it too, as someone that access my wallet about 30 times a day (if not more..) so this can definitely be super useful!

I'm hoping to have more news about such new addition in the next couple of weeks.

Have a great Sunday! :)

I didn't realize that setting the "lock when" to Minimize would let the application actually close (that implication is not immediately obvious, though it makes sense when I think about it). Now it works exactly as how expect it to work.

One thing which confused me when placing the order: I applied the welcome code for 30% discount code, reducing the price as expected. However on the checkout screen, I would see the original price. However paypal charged me the discounted price.

And one more little thing: There is no mention of the Windows Phone client on the SafeWallet page - I only found about it thanks to the newsletter (and it was indeed deal-maker for me).

Thank you for excellent support!

Hi Mzabsky,

I'm glad to hear that this helped! :)

Regarding the price listing issue on our store - we will check this some more and see what might be going on. It seems that when some promo codes are applied the check-out page continues to display the full price, even though the price charged eventually is the discounted price (similar to the experience you describe..), this of course adds unnecessary confusion for users, so we will try to figure out what is causing this and get this fixed ASAP - we're sorry for that confusion.. :/

As for the Windows Phone mention on our site, we're doing our utmost to get our web-site updated quickly to include clearer indication about the new Windows Phone support. Like you said, currently there is no mention about it, which is a real shame.. I'm sure there are plenty of users who'd love to use SafeWallet if they knew about the new Windows Phone version, so we'll definitely get our web-site updated asap to list the new Windows Phone support.

Have a great new day! :)
