I would like to trigger different profiles depending on what bluetooth device is connected.
1) I am in my car the bluetooth device is named sync, and I have power plugged in I would like to trip the car profile and start my GPS software.
2) I am at my desk I have my bluetooth headset on; device is named headset, and have power plugged in, I would like to trip the profile office and start my music player.
I would also like to trigger on my wired headset but Miguel has already said there is no API available.

You can do currently, the only limitation is that you can't tell among the headset and the hands free. I'll add your suggestion to the Wishlist.
The problem with the wired headset is not that there is no API, but that that API has a bug and currently needs to be launched from a service. As Phoneweaver at this moment does not use a background service it is not implemented. But it is in my todo list
