I have used their products on my Windows Mobile devices for years and loved them. I was very happy to see this one in the app store and thought that finally we'd get a quality app. Now I'm not so sure.

I currently have 3 different cities in my location selection. Whenever I open the images for that location at least one of them doesn't bear any resemblance to the actual location. I live in No. VA and generally get Kentucky or the edge of far left point of VA. The other images give me different states except for the METAR which is always right on the money. And trying to move the map section doesn't work. My town is off the side of the map section. I do see some warning indicators at the bottom, but I'd like to see what's happening in my location, not 400 miles away. Does anyone else have this problem or am I missing something?

I have the same issue, but for a different area in the US. I submitted a support request before I discovered this forum. I have been informed my issue will be escalated. Maybe a fix for me will also be a fix for you.

My map Image issues are in the North Texas area. If I choose Dallas, Fort Worth, or any other surrounding suburb, the Maps>Image centers on Abilene, TX, which doesn't come close to covering our safety. I can see the D/FW area on the image in the lower, right-hand corner, but in no way covered under radar data. I can choose Abilene, and get Abilene. A town/city further north of us gets coverage from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I just can't get image info for my area. The METAR map is on the money.

There may be some locations with issues as far as the images go, but if you post the city and zip code you are talking about, it will be a little bit easier for Adrian to check it out.

In the mean time, if you know of an image that you want, you can always add the image to your list. For example, if you have local TV station map that you like, you can usually add that image to PW. I have done it for the radar image that I like to see, and it works great.

To Add a new image or edit one,
  • When you are on the Maps Page
  • Select the Info Icon (Top right - to the right of the Earthquake button).
  • Select the Edit Button.
  • Hit the blue arrow next to the the location that you want to edit or add the image.
  • Select Configure Images.
  • From the next screen, you can edit the existing images or add new images.

Well done Robert.
I think the "Info" icon is really a poor "push pin" for bringing up the "Locations" Configuration screens.

Looks much better the way you format it for me though! Thanks Ron
