I am unable to sync to multiple devices mobile devices without loss of cards/folders in the program. I have both a android phone (2.3) and a tablet (3.1), syncing to my Win7 desktop. invariably if I update one device then sync to the desktop, the sync is successful, then I sync the other device and it destroys all updated data. I have only made changes on one device. This makes your application package unusable to me at this time. It seems less like a sync and more of a whole-file transfer. Either find way to allow multiple devices to safely sync without user interaction (beyond initiating sync as we have now) Or allow us to specify the transfer direction. The latter would be safer but less user friendly. A real sync would allow changes on two devices to mix successfully rather than overwriting the changes on one device with anothers records.

Dropbox is not of interest to me as it puts the files outside my direct control.

Second problem, i have at times moved a folder and had it vanish/erase itself from the wallet. also the program has once so far crashed when performing that operation.

Hi Nova5,

Sorry for your troubles. What method of syncing are you using? With Dropbox (I guess you don't use that method) It is a complete file transfer. You must not have SafeWallet open on one device while opening it on another or you can lose entries. With USB or WiFi I believe it is a true sync. However, you might still need to avoid having SafeWallet open on more than one device when syncing.

I'm facing this issue as well!
I think we should wait for the next release, I understood should improve the entire syncing experience?

Hi Rare_78 :)

Generally, at this stage (until we complete some larger sync improvements), if you are syncing more than two ending points (one PC and one mobile), you should use the Dropbox sync option and not the local sync. The local sync, at this stage, is designed to sync only up to two ending points, that is, one PC with one mobile. Users who wish to sync more devices together (basically endless devices) should use the Dropbox sync option which allows syncing as many devices as you'd like together.

Please let me know if indeed you experienced this issue when syncing more than two devices using the local sync? Or do you think you are experiencing a different problem?

Thanks! :)

I'm having some odd situation. I've saved some information on Desktop Safe Wallet application. Then i synced it with my android phone. Everything went ok my info got transferred to android. Then i wanted to pass that information to my tablet.. and didn't go well. As i understood it took safewallet keychain from tablet and replaced Windows keychain(for some reason) After that i decided to sync my android phone with Windows Safe wallet application to get my info back to windows application.. But it replaced my android keychain with windows keychain. So all in all I've been left with the same old keychain. But luckily i remembered that information that i wanted to save in first place. So after playing with sync option i was able to sync and save my info on all 3 devices( PC, Tablet and Phone)

i used local wi-fi sync only!

I will try to do some testing and post my technique on how to sync between multiple devices and hopefully devteam will resolve this problem or should i say add multiple device sync.

so I've played around with this sync. I found the way on how to save your information on multiple device. The only way to have information on 3 or more devices is when you only have entered your info on desktop application, Like for example you have entered email and password in safewallet windows application and you want that email and password on your tablet and phone. To do that you have force your info to devices not sync. I found a trick(dev team FIX it) Go to tools select sync manager choose sync wallet with android phone (sync wi-fi) click synchronize anyway(ignore stage 3 where it says lunch safewallet ,open main menu and select sync) after you click synchronize and only then select sync in safewallet android application. A window will pop out asking you to enter password which android application generates for syncing purposes meanwhile android safewallet application will say Sync Complete(click ok) (covering password you have to enter)
A window where you have to enter password in windows should go away or click cancel. Then there's one more window will pop out click ok, And there you go you forced your keychain to android devices.

sorry for my bad grammar i learned English by self.

Hi sydthebeat,

Hi Sydthebeat and welcome to our forums! :)

If I understand correctly you are using SafeWallet with local sync (this is - syncing over your local WiFi network). When using the local sync SafeWallet can only sync your data across two ending-points. This means, one PC and one mobile. When trying to sync with more than 2 ending points there are good chances that some parts of your data will be lost during the sync -b2- This is one of the limitations with our local sync solution *with the current version*.

One option to sync more than two devices is to activate our Dropbox sync feature. When using the Dropbox sync feature you can sync your SafeWallet across as many devices as you'd like without any problem like this - the Dropbox sync feature offers secure cloud sync with the ability to sync as many devices together as you'd like,

In addition, we're currently working days and nights on the upcoming SafeWallet release. This upcoming version brings new syncing features that will allow super-simple sync across as many devices as you'd like. It is actually much more advanced than the current Dropbox sync, and also much simpler to setup. If you would like, let me know and I'll be glad to send you the beta group subscription details so you can start using the new version right away and enjoy the new sync. :) Although still in beta - the new version is super stable so it should be completely usable.

Let me know in case you'd like to join the new beta. Have a great day! B)

Yes sync system needs to be improved ! Even with two ending-points sync system isn't perfect. You could lose data anyway. Dropbox sync is a nice alternative sync system but i prefer local syncing.

Yeah i would be more than happy to join beta testing!!! So far i like safewallet it has everything i've been looking for: cross platform, local sync, pass generator, an option to keep keychain data in custom location: usb drive .

I've been playing with b-folders application for the last couple of days. Their sync system is actually pretty impressive but application misses a few features that Safewallet has.
