New Feature Requests

1) Keepscreen (it is a program that will make it so the screen does not go off when in certain programs) - it would be great if you integrated this functionality in PhoneWeaver and then of course made it per profile
2) SmartScreenOff (it is a program that will make it so the screen goes off when putting the finger over the proximity sensor) - it would be great if you integrated this functionality in PhoneWeaver and then of course made it per profile
These two things would make PhoneWeaver so much better

Here are mine:
1. Placed base profile back to standard if you leave the range.
2. Bluetooth profile possible to choose on the device id similar like the WLAN SSID.
3. Possibility to choose to switch WLAN and Bluetooth short on with a timer, maybe with a free timeout, to look on WLAN SSID or Bluetooth ID.
Thanks and regards

I continue to love PhoneWeaver but I would love it if you included two features:
1) Keepscreen (it is a program that will make it so the screen does not go off when in certain programs) - it would be great if you integrated this functionality in PhoneWeaver and then of course made it per profile
2) SmartScreenOff (it is a program that will make it so the screen goes off when putting the finger over the proximity sensor) - it would be great if you integrated this functionality in PhoneWeaver and then of course made it per profile
These two things would make PhoneWeaver so much better
PhoneWeaver is designed to take as few CPU and battery as possible, so it does its things and remains sleeping or even fully exits until an alarm or event wakes it up again to do another set of things.
Having to wakeup every foreground app change or evey proximity sensor change would make PhW battery hungry, and you can currently disable screen off in a profile bassis, so if you for example don't want screen off while reading, create a profile that sets the screen timeout to never and launches Kindle program.
I thought it was a good idea with feature requests
Here are mine:
1. Placed base profile back to standard if you leave the range.
2. Bluetooth profile possible to choose on the device id similar like the WLAN SSID.
3. Possibility to choose to switch WLAN and Bluetooth short on with a timer, maybe with a free timeout, to look on WLAN SSID or Bluetooth ID.

1. Create a Dafault time profile and then a location profile. Once left the location the default one will trigger.
2. Create a connection profile filtered by specific BT device.
3. I have wifi always off on my device. Then a "connected" location profile that triggers on several different locations. Using Cell and AP as location method, I create as much locations for this profile as sites while I want to connect to wifi.
So I have wifi off always but when I'm at a site whith a WIFI i can connect to !!!
Bluetooth is more difficult, but you canleave it on always. While BT is disconnected it takes negligible quantity of battery,

Hi Miguel,
thanks for your answer.
Respond to your points:
1. Thought it work 5 or more versions ago but I was not secure about. So as you write - for me it doesn't work furthermore. Doesn't know how to check, thought doesn't change something at this profiles.
2. Cool, doesn't know that, was new for me. Implement immediately for my music
3. I have done the same way but since point 1, with leaving the location doesn't want work, I have often WIFI on without a notice from me.
To Bluetooth: Security experts told not to switch on if you doesn't use and at a phone every percent battery count
It would be a nice function to trigger another profile every x minutes from a time based profile so you are more flexibly.

Doesn't call weaver use cycles when ever there is a call? so use the same concept and make a plug in that does those two requests.
Also can you add vibrate on connect call to the program (for per profile). Right now I have my phone set to vibrate on connect but when I using it through the bluetooth on the phone then there is no point in it vibrating upon connect and would like to shut it off to save battery.

I'll suggest to delete all locations, create them from scratch and try again. If you still have issues , activate log and send me the file for further analisys.
Bluettoth on is only an issue if discoverable mode is left also on.. But it cannot be done in Android, discoverable mode has a timeout even when activated manually.
Could you tell me an scenario for such as "every x minutes profile"?

Yes it does, but a call is something less frequent than a foreground application change!
Added your suggersion to the wishlist.

Ok, I try to delete all locations, made new and give you the result.
I thought on the following scenario:
-To switch Data on and off every hour or every 2 hours for maybe 5 or 10 minutes.
-To start a app every x minutes for x minutes to check something.
-To switch Bluetooth on every 15 minutes for maybe 1 minute to check and maybe connect.
-For me this moment not working location to switch WLAN on maybe every 15 minutes and looking for base.
-I thought it is interest for people which live or work in bigger houses.
The WLAN maybe doesn't work in the whole house which is the person longer time in and not to stay in WLAN area drains the battery.

Is changing the vibrate on connect call per profile a feasible feature?

Ok, I try to delete all locations, made new and give you the result.
With 1 location it works after delete and add the locations new.
Now I give it a try with a second location.

Work now with more as one location.

Maybe it is interest to add a trigger on "screen on switching" to activate something like the data transfer.
Pared with a cycling poll with variable timeout of, maybe data connection, it was a great energy saver

The ciclic profile is already in the wishlist. The profile on screen on is not necessay I think and can be problematic.
and remember that you can set WIFI to only work when the device is on.

Glad to know it is working now.

Doesn't know if the "screen on" really trigger the 3G on my old phone. I set data off after 15 min. in the settings. Sometimes I switch the screen on I see the 3G symbol appear a little bit later so I thought it does the trigger.
And the battery life double nearly.
Yes, WIFI I know.
I thought a high battery drain is based on 3G and GPS on a phone.
Thanks for your respond.
